TO PRODUCT.
After market research we can define our product goals precisely.
The product environment getting more clear and we have some knowledge about the design language and color schemes. We already know about the required functions and end user target price.
all said above is not enough if your product is not profitable.
Now it's time to apply our knowledge
into the process phases:
Preliminary Design: Creating 3 different designs versions
Detailed design: Choosing on of the versions from the previous step and creating final design with all product details: Shells separation, Buttons, Screws, Screens or any other included features
Prototyping: From the CAD software we produce prototype model and get real world feedback. The prototype can be working model with technical components inside or a dummy prototype (mock-up)
Enclosure Engineering: This phase
performed with collaboration of the engineers the product company initiators. Now I'm transform the design models into manufacturing technologies and create manufacturing files of 3D models and drawings.
